Touche roger. Good lookin out. N i rest my case. If the cheat technology has existed since 98, u know its been well used.
In the vid testers admit they were suspicious. Seems the cars were put on the market anyway? I struggle with fully understanding given the videos ambiguity. Feels a bit like a public relations piece. Boggles the mind they had a hard time recognizing circa 98 software. Not so boggling the closing sentence mentions angry owners joining a class action law suit. Too darn much self interest goin on around deep pocket manufacturing for my taste.
And wasn't Jimmy Peanut Farmer Carter our diesel pushin Pres? Not that I'm a critic. After spending 6 hrs in first class with a large oil company lawyer, who after his 6th or 7th drink arrogantly admitted the oil companies already have all the alternative energy sources developed and in place for distribution, pending milking the ever last dime out of crude, i say deisel, electric, hydro, solar,... bring it all on. The more diversity in use of our energy resources, the less damage to our environment and greater distribution of wealth. Therein the rub. Far too few humans are comfortable sharing. 😀
