I found the secret. While manuvering the pipe with one hand, stand on the opposite foot, rub your head, and burst a bubblegum bubble on you face, all at the same time!

Of course I jokes.

It did take more doing, but I finally got it just right, and it slipped right through.

Next step, put the pump on! Got some silicon lube for that. No silicone gasket seal. That makes for a difficult replacement in 50,000 miles.
