Ron thanks. I'm using the oem faucet I bought from you a couple of years ago. Didn't know about a check valve in the city water hook up. Is there a way to check the check valves on both?

In the original Westfalia design there are two check valves to prevent this from happening, one in the faucet and one in the city water inlet. If you are using both OEM parts, then both valves have failed. However if you are switched to a ShurFlo or some other faucet, it has no check valve so now you are relying only on the ball valve in the inlet to prevent this. As long as everything is tight, the water should not be leaking behind the van wall, although it never hurts to check. We sell replacements for both the faucet an the inlet:
