thanks for the link, wanted to read it, link might not be complete.
VW won't cease to exist.
There may be hellatious readjustment and starting over, etc.
but it is too deeply woven into German consciousness and culture for the
german government to allow it to fail completely or cease to exist.
( Hey ..VW can give jobs to all the new immigrants ! ..there we go ! ) .
Just like the US gov could not let GM cease to exist ..'too big to fail' ..
just like countries that need major bailouts get them, sometimes
multiple times. ..
it's rarely allowed to happen - - - - total cease-to-exist for
companies or institutions that big and traditional.
At the worst it will be necessary for the german gov to keep VW alive
...like a bailout or 'fresh start' .
