Reluctantly and with reservations entering this thread :-) Comes down to how you use the van. In the summer and good weather we cook outside. Wether there is a picnic table or not. And there never is a picnic table where we go. But during bad weather the full westy interior shines. Winter camping, rain or snow, is much nicer with the stove and fridge and sink inside. When I converted my syncro tin top to a faux westy, I considered having the sink stove and fridge removable. Or even eliminating them completely and going back to tent style methods. But I put in the entire westy biz, and I don't regret it a bit. Alistair
