Dear vanoginiters
The places which specialize in R&R of water boxer to TDI engine would have
or might had known about the software -issue as they tuned engine after
install - or were vanagon exempt after repower ?
The scuttlebutt on Sirius 111 is that this issues is actually a copyright
issue because the DIgital Copyright laws in the USA allow a wall to be put
in place to protect the software from backyard hackers turning engine into
something it is not supposed to be --- ?like a Walkman??
Regards
