you mean improve Oil cooling ? Seems that it would...the idea being that you are air-cooling the engine coolant flowing through the oil cooler/heat exchanger gizmo. Not the most elegant and clean approach let's say. Obviously a 'real' air type oil cooler would do a better job. I was very impressed ( seldom happens with many vendors' products with me ) with Ten Cent Life's waterboxer oil cooler set up. In fact, zero criticisms or complaints. Somewhat expensive, but 'the real deal' Fan assisted and thermostat controlled I believe. I put one on one of his engines...never had to give it a thought ..went on right, worked right.
