Ian,

This is the Vanagon List. We follow a narrower focus during the rest of the week. Vanagons. There are other general discussion forums when this discussion may continue.

It's now Saturday. Please take the discussion to another forum or wait until next Friday to continue. We have left the discussion door wide open since the news hit, to allow some venting. However, we need to get back to the business of discussing Vanagons.

Karl W. is correct that even Friday is supposed to be off topic but still Vanagon related. However, the mods have not enforced that Friday restriction for a number of years. Bandwidth is not as costly as it used to be when that rule was put in place.
