hi Neil, I took out the whole power window assembly recently for repair..if you take them out, consider open up the motor to clean and lube it. The bottom of the raiser has a plastic guide attached to the metal vertical rail via a plastic pin. You may want to replace that plastic pin with small screw and bolt. The pin on mine was broken and the cable jumped off the track.. Time to remove, repair, clean, lube and reassembly is about 4 hours.... yeah I am slow :-) |
