Well, I've come to a stopping point. I've got the van back together, serviced and ready to go. I will start it tomorrow and ckeck for leaks above and below, and if all is well, I shall then put the pushrod shield back in place.

Given I had apparently been running for some time with that anchor stud broken, I decided to leave it as is, and drive it to the local garage for repair. I haven't the skill, the tools, or equipment to replace that stud.

Thats the story to date!
