Aright, after much consideration and the fact that I have no money trees
growing in my yard, I'm going for the restore. I have a tank with the tact
welded tag at the corners and yes, it was half rusted away so I cut it
off. Underneath the tag was the most serious rust issue. Some pitting, so
I grinded the hell out of it. After 3 afternoons of grinding and sanding
the whole tank and rock shield, it's ready for some protection! I've got
the first coat of POR-15 on it. Gonna do a second coat soon, and prep it
for a nice white top coat.
