The rules are simple - you can't return the starter for a refund if it's
been installed.

Having been a reseller for years I can tell you that from their point of
view you are trying to steal $125 from them!

I suggest you keep it as a spare.

Hi, y'all!

Thank you for your earlier help and support.

NOW, I need to return the new starter that was installed, used for about
twenty miles, and replaced with my new/old (< 200 miles on it) Bosch
starter.

There is a 1 1/2 " oil smear on the white paper label, and general grime on
the metal portions . . .

How Would YOU clean it back to apparent
"newness" and return it for the $125 refund?

(At time of purchase, last week, the clerk said I would not be able to
return the starter IF it had been installed . . . )


Help, please; I want to return this albatross and get my $125 back!
