There's a fellow named Ray Miller on the Vanagon Owners Facebook page who's just produced a bunch of fancy Vanagon shifters (I helped him slightly with some measurements on one I had lying around here). His version of making sure his stuff is right includes driving a few hundred miles to do test installations. He's got parts in now for his five-speed version, and he's talking seriously about intending to make a power window setup using two of whatever regulator-thing it was VW cheaped out and only used one of. Definitely a man to watch. He's third-generation in the business I think and his son is coming up in it. Lives in Louisiana.

Yours, David
