Subject: Never ending propane supply
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

Hi folks,

Well thanks to Stuart M, and the help of the list, I have gathered all my new propane tank pieces. I’ve checked and I still have all my original parts, including the regulator.

about 4 weeks ago I heard and smelled a larger then usual amount of propane when turning on the supply. Further, it didn’t want to turn off right away.

I’m now planning to bring it to my friendly RV repair shop but I can’t get the darn tank to empty!

Now going on over two weeks of running the refrigerator and occasional running of the stove. This after a summer of reasonable cooking use.

The tank just keeps supplying propane.

How long can I expect this thing to take to empty?

granted the refrigerator is not working very hard in VT. It is not that warm here. Still some days reached 50 degrees and it is definitely running as the vent is warm and I can hear the flame.
