Yes, This is his work and that is his van.

I'll add a couple of quick points. If you VC experienced normal wear and use its failure will be to stop transferring useable power to the front wheels. If the VC becomes overly aggressive, (too stiff), that was the result of overuse or abuse. If you going through these as a result of frequent off road excursions that maybe keep the stiff unit or go with a sold shaft and use a drive shaft de-coupler.
