yes, you are missing an adapter: the picture on Amazon says: a limited supply with outer (ACME) fittings are available if you do not have the inner POL threading. Contact us for pricing. On samba advertisement it says $22.00 http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1567630%5B/url%
