Last trip to FL the cruise control started acting up. By that, I mean sort of a little jerky then it wouldn’t hold speed. When it did add throttle for a rise or hill it would go past 5-10 mph past set speed than abruptly stop until it was below set speed and the cycle starts again. Ultimately, it quits. Stop for a ½ hour or so and it will work fine for an hour, more or less, and starts acting up again. I have tested the vacuum switches and vacuum throttle actuator and all are fine. The system will hold vacuum for hours. That said, is it more likely the vacuum pump or electronic control unit.
Thanks for any input as I am fleeing the cold north right for FL just after the holidays.
