Hi all. This is for an ~ 90K - 100K mile 1988 Westy. If a heater fan motor has seen low use, but has sat unused for some time, can the factory lube at the motor dry out and cause the fan motor to be noisy? The front heater motor makes a "tweetering" or "chirping" type sound that *may* "go away" if run for some time or run at 2nd speed. I may list this bus for sale. If the fan has low hours on it, I'd try to lube it; the flaps seem to seal quite well. I'm not overly confident of aftermarket fan motors.
