It's not Thanksgiving in Canada (that was six weeks ago), but was taking advantage of a snowless, not frigid weekend to get a last, few, garage and outdoor things done before winter is upon us - including washing the Vanagon, checking the tires and running fuel stabiliser through the system before winter storage. I also installed a wall-mounted spare tire rack for the car's tires, and we cleaned a lot of junk out of the garage storage area.

Really, this has been the most remarkable, late occurring fall. There have been winters when we'd be a foot deep in snow by now, not driving our Vanagons off to the local car wash bays....
