You can find 14" light truck snow tires from multiple vendors, and some can be studded. Most are load range D, which is overkill since "C" is adequate (1520 lbs load). Remember, you need four. Spokane doesn't get a lot of snow, but it is often icy, so I'd get studs if I were you.
I had four studded tires on my previous '84 and did really well years ago when Seattle used to get snow, and Spokane is a lot flatter! Engine in the rear helps.

Van Cafe does not list this tire. Nokian web site does not list it, either. IS there a 14" snow tire for the Vanagon? Having moved to Spokane, I really expected not to be driving the camper much in winter, but now that looks to have changed, at least for a while. We've had a little snow so far, and no problem, but more (and deeper) will surely come.
