Hello Bob:

First, you starter may be okay. Â There is a starter relay that may still be available from list vendors. Â It is a small device. Â I have it mounted under the rear seat. Â Basically, when your turn the key to start, it activates the relay, and it puts full battery voltage on the starter solenoid. Â I have had the one of my '84 for over a decade and no will not start when hot problems,
