The PO installed FatMat onto the OEM clear, plastic, water barrier of the front doors (as well as the inner surface of the outer door skin). IMO the FatMat will not work optimally when applied to the barrier since the door vibrations are not dampened/absorbed by the Fatmat. I intend to remove the FM and water barrier and reinstall new FatMat directly to the inner door metal. Ya'll agree?
