Partly Correct ~ The 2 Large Bolts that secure the BrakeCaliper to the Steering Knuckle on

'86> 2WD Vanagons Do Require 200FtLbs but I see no Info that says they should be Replaced ~

The 2 Bolts that hold the 2 "Halves" of the Caliper together & get Removed during Pad Replace'

Should be SelfLocking & Should be Repaced ~ But I WouldNot be the LeastBit Surprised to find

that Most IfNot All that are in use are the Originals ~ I know I've never replaced mine ~ But will

look into doing so ~
