Have you positively taken care of the oil pressure-warning light/buzzer issues? If there is still a concern there the brand of oil won’t help much. As for sourcing Mobil 1 Wal-Mart often has the 5 quart jug for $26.88. If you want a good matching filter go for the M1-205. You can sometimes get these for a good price on amazon. I your area you don’t often have real winter weather so the any of the 20w-50 or 15w-50 oils are fine. For non-synthetics 20w-50 should not be used much below freezing. There are now some 5w-50 synthetic oils out there including Mobil 1 and Castrol Syntec. After my next Florida trip in Fun Bus I plan to try it. That will be right around 290K.

Planning to switch oils and wondered what weight and brand might be best. Engine has about 150-160,000 miles on it. Been running for a long time on Kendall GT-1. Have run out of that oil and on this oil change would li,e to go to something else. Thought about 15-50 Mobil-1 Synthetic, but it's now over $10/quart in B'HAM.

Suggestions?
