Most likely you don’t need this. The Vanagon bucking is probably the most miss diagnosed condition out there. You probably have a bad O2 sensor or sensor circuit problem. Begin by checking the ground reference for it. The green wire going to the sensor is a shield wire like an audio cable. Get to that outer shield wire and with the ignition on check for voltage between it and the chassis. Should be real close to "0". Anything here gets added to the voltage the ECU is looking for from the O2 sensor and since that works at ~.2 to .7 volt a voltage drop on that shield is a problem. It shares the ground with the wiring to the distributor hall sensor. Begin there.
