Yup. An autoresponder spams the list everytime someone new posts something. When that happens, I set the address to ’nomail'

To fix the problem, send the following to

listserv@gerry.vanagon.com

(Subject is ignored) In the body of the message enter:

SET VANAGON MAIL

You’ll get a confirmation message and mail will be delivered again.

In the future, when you need to set up an autoresponder, please take a moment and send the following command to the listserv address:

SET VANAGON NOMAIL
