At first drive, it will whirl from the start, 0 mph. As I drive a bit more, the whirling will be at higher and higher speeds and not at lower speeds. I tried slowing down, and it does go away, but then comes back as I gain speed again. Eventually it's gone. -Dick-

I was slower than you have been to realize it was the head chattering and not the cable; and so far I always manage to forget until the next time it happens. VDO apparently fixed this late in production.
