Grrrrr! Hose started leaking. Installed and removed four used hoses before finding a good one. It should be easy enough to make one of these hoses up, but there is a "restrictor" about midway the length of it, and without it the system is noisy as all getout. BTDT! Didn't want to go that route again. How does the restrictor work? And can the cracked/split section be removed and a new section spliced in. I have looked at some new ones -non-VW - and am not impressed -especially with the price. The hose diameter is also a question for me, Anybody else run into this? John |
