For me it was my Garmin GPS plug.  The side spring contacts didn't go in deep enough to hold the plug, and it would lose contact while driving.  Very annoying.

I haven't had a problem.  Of course, the only devices I've used are cell phone charger and air compressor for tires.  mcneely
