The evaporator fans have a clutch? Look for a wire on the driver's side with two wires on it. The original set up had a two pin connector for the compressor clutch. One was for ground and the other with two wires connected together was the power for the compressor clutch and feedback to tell the idle controller the AC is on.

Apologies in advance if I do something wrong. This is my first post to the list.

When I bought my van, several electrical items were not plugged into the correct connector. I've finally got all of the connections correct, except the AC. I need a bit of assistance here.

My compressor is a single wire type clutch. Which wire does this plug into? I don't see anything that looks like the correct connector. I've even tried tracing wires back to the fuse panel in the closet. I can't seem to find any photos either.

I'm fearing that someone took removed the wire for the clutch. Last challenge is to get one of the evaporator fans to stop blowing its clutch.

Cheers, Jason Ellis
