That's a good point. I have fog lights and a nice set of Hellas on my 83 Vanagon. In situations with no fog at all, on badly rutted roads at night, I find that having both the fog lights and the Hellas on gives a pretty decent combination for visibility when it matters. I drive in fog seldom enough that I may look for clear lenses for what are now my CibiƩ fogs. It's just nice to have the low-down scattered light.
