I don’t do fund raising pleas worth a s*%#, but seriously folks, Jim deserves all the help we can muster. If you don’t know or know of Jim, just visit the page that he’s maintained for more that a decade with information that would take you days to locate otherwise. <http://www.oldvolkshome.com> Take a look at the inventory of Air Head Parts. <http://airheadparts.com> Jim has been a major force behind getting many of these NLA parts reproduced. 

Jim has been a list member since the vanagon@lenti days (the Ur bus list.) I just searched the vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com archives. His name first surfaces in one of Unca Joel’s stats reports.  Date? June 27, 1995. This was back in the days when the dealer & Bus Boys were about the only choices for parts. His contributions to our chosen hobby/way of life are immeasureable and he’s been doing it for a long time.

Please, dig deep and help a brother in need.

Folks, 

Six days ago we stared the GoFundMe Campaign to spread the word about the serious medical challenge facing Jim Thompson, a member of our VW Bus Community. 

Jim has a ginormous problem ahead dealing with medical and living expenses that will occur during his long medical recovery.

Since 01/24/16, $3585 has been collected via the GoFundMe Campaign, a collection taken at Buses by the Bridge 2016 and individual PayPal donations. 

To everyone - thank you so much for this great start. 

But Jim is going to need more help.
