Subject: Front door seals

I had my van repainted last June and at the same time, I bought and had installed all new gaskets and weather stripping. Every since I got the van back, you really have slam the door shut really hard and it is hard to open as well. The drivers side is some what better but not like it should be

The place I had to all this work, said that their are 2 diffrent styles of front door gaskets. One if it was made in the USA and the other if it was made in Germany. I have never heard this and nothing has ever said this on this list.

I just bought the weather stripping again after taking it to a body shop diffrent from the place I took it to the to have it painted etc and the were dumb founded about what is causing the problem. I was told from the vendor you have to remove the doors and use a tool to get the weather stripping to fit right and then align the doors afterwards.

Can someone shed some light on this for me?
