Subject: Fuel pressure
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

Engine running fine. Stalled in the middle of the road. Burned up the engine harness. Examination found the likely culprit was as Dennis Haynes said - broken wire of the hydraulic pump switch grounded to engine. Started things burning. Check your PS PUMP SWITCH WIRING, Volks. Avoid my troubles.

Replaced harness with used good one. Everything works but - won't start. In this case no fuel pressure. Fuel pump runs. But no fuel coming out of the test point over the engine fuel line "T". It was running fine when it stalled and all this trouble started.

Any Ideas?

Thanks,

John
