It's Not a TerriblyDifficult Job ~ Can be done With ControlArm OnTheVan ~ I put the FrontEnd Up On Ramps & with a FloorJack under the L'C'A'

@ Its LowPoint (Just inside of the Lower ShockMount) Raise one side enough to get that Tire Off the Ramp, place a JackStand under the Vans JackingPoint,

Remove the Ramp, Lower the Jack 'til the Spring is FullyExtended but Keep the Jack InPlace ~ Then Remove the " L'C'A'Bushing" Bolt ~ The L'C'A will then

MostLikely Need to be Pried out of the MountEars (Loosening the FrontNut on the RadiusRod CanBe a Help)~ Once it is Down FarEnough so the "Bushing" is

Clear of the Ears You will Need a "Tool" to remove the Old "Bushing" ~

Here is a link to the tool I concocted ~

The RubberLip on one end of the Old "Bushing" WillNeed to be Cut off so that the Tool can ButtUp against the ControlArm & then You just Wrench on it

& Old "Bushing" will Pull Through & Out ~

Definitely use T3s(PowerFlex or WhiteLine) or Burleys L'C'A' Bushings for the NewOnes ~

I chose to go with Burleys when I did Mine & they are Great

http://burleysmotorsports.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=25_31

But would probably go T3 in the Future as they are now LessExpensive ~

Getting the L'C'A' Jacked BackUp into Proper Position can be a Bit Of A Chore but It's all QuiteDoable ~

Does anyone have any experience changing these out? Can they be done without removing the arm from the vehicle? How would a shop do this? I will probably replace them with the poly bushings from T3 since they would go in much easier than the 1 piece rubber ones. > > Patrick Spragge > >> On Feb 2, 2016, at 12:31 PM, BenT <syncro@GMAIL.COM> wrote: >> >> Let's not forget the value of labor. >> Bostig, DIY.
