Stock 1.9L, 1984 Westy. Tune Up? When it runs like crap. Got a rebuilt distributor about a year ago: it made a huge difference in gas mileage and performance. Oil Changes? 2X per year regardless of mileage. My mileage varies wildly, sometimes 6000 miles per year. Other times less than 1500 miles per year. So tune-up frequency also varies wildly. Oil changes steady as she goes. It gives my esteemed mechanic a reason to look around for trouble.
