you might inquire as to what type of parking brake their disc BRAKE ( not break ) conversion uses.

One kit I installed used a cable-operated brake caliper for the parking brake function .. which is done successfully on some cars with rear disc brakes. Although ...in this case it didn't work that well.. Would not hold a well equipped van from rolling on a steep city street. Not up to proper standards IMO. Safety hazard even !

almost all cars that have rear disc brakes that are well made solid cars, such as Volvo and Mercedes ... have a small drum brake ( like 6 inches or so in diameter ) incorporated into the rear disc .. those flat Work. So inquire about that. and if 14 inch wheels work.

on all front disc brake conversions for vanagons that I've ever heard, of 15 inch wheels are required . Might not be for smaller rear discs though.
