My skylight actually warped. That doesn't help. My skylight leaked the other night during some wild weather here in the Northeast. My skylight open/close mechanism filled with water. It drips out on acceleration and when the knob is turned. Can anyone tell me how to easily open that box to dry it out? If evaporation is the key, will anything corrode in there, or is it all plastic? This is my first Vanagon with a skylight, and I replaced the seal a couple of years ago when it dripped, but apparently not enough to fill the mechanism. Kinda disappointing to have it leaky so soon. > > Dave B. |
