Thanks Mark;

Since I'm in the final planning stages for our Rt. 66/Cali coast/ across the top of USA trip (leaving late April/early May), that is an option which I have used before, but, for some reason, I wasn't thinking about now. Guess I'm not grimy enough sitting in the front of the bus (Vanagon) to have thought of it. I've used them in the past, and mostly found them as you said. They are not just for truckers.
