I had our 2.1L checked before we purchased the van in 2003 and again after the drive home, Berkeley, CA to Anchorage, AK, both tests averaged 165lbs per cyl. The engine had obviously been rebuilt at some point but the seller had no history on it as he had purchased the van to flip and providing its history would have revealed the odometer readings had been rolled back. It was then and still is a good van and a reasonable price when we bought it but I would have pushed for a lower amount had we known the truth.
