Peter, no way near as much rust as some of the ones I have done. See the link below to the restoration of Bob Roach’s van done back in 2006. No welding was done, all repair work done using new metal and POR-15. This van is still owned by Bob and I service it on a regular basis so see it often. Still looks pretty good although the clear coat the paint shop used is peeling off of the pop-top. This van comes to BusFusion each year, maybe not this year, as I am undertaking to rebuild his engine when I get home the end of April and it may not be ready in time, but you’re more than welcome to come over to the shop to see it.

Here’s links to other’s I have done that are holding up just fine:

Then of course there’s mine I did recently:

AND…….that’s it……I will do no more ! At 73 I’m giving up this dirty gruelling work ! I’m anxious to see how yours comes along and how it holds up as there are quite a few customers always asking about who does this kind of work !

Please note that I will be away from my business travelling from November 16 until April 30, 2016. Parts orders will be processed although not as quickly as usual. I will always be available for contact by E-mail. If you phone your call will be addressed by Steven and he will either call you back or advise you to contact me directly by E-mail.
