Yes, my sediments exactly. I have removed the whole duct from our '91 GL tintop. It caused too many mild concussions while it was there and when it started to fall down I finished the job. I don't need 40F air blowing right in my face to know the AC is working. The stream from the rear draws in the warmer air from the sides and is tempered and evened out by the time it reaches the front. Much more comfortable IMHO. No accounting for taste. :-) Larry A.
