Subject: Vanagon classes Spokane
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

The Spokane/CDA (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) Volkswagen Vanagon, Bus, and Eurovan Meetup group is trying to design some Vanagon repair classes for this Spring. We are negotiating with a Spokane repair shop to have some free seminars. We are considering a half day class, however if there is interest from people that live further away, we will consider a full day class, or two half day classes, with a campout after the first day. Class size will be small. Classes will be in Spokane, WA, probably on a Saturday, hoping for mid-May. We are hoping to provide the classes for free, or maybe a minimum charge. These classes would be at the beginner level, taught by professional mechanics.

We are considering the following topics:

. General overview of the Vanagon

. Simple solutions to frequent breakdowns

. Tune up

. Crank/no start vs. No crank

Let us know if you are interested! Please email me directly if you have any suggestions or questions.

We are in the design phase, so your input is appreciated.

Stan
