hi all,

I am looking for help regarding solar panel, aux. battery, generator and the such...

your share of experiences and advices will be greatly appreciated...

the van(s):

- '89 tin top with a group 41 battery under driver's seat linked to the main battery via an isolator - a 62qt Whynter fridge connected to either the aux. battery or to the main battery.

- the fridge would run the battery flat after about 4 hours with engine off - no problem with running engine

I am looking for infos and choice on the followings:

- a deep cycle battery to fit under the driver seat, bigger than the one at Van Cafe or GoWesty (I have one but it's too small)

- good portable solar panel to run the fridge and charge the battery when the engine is not running

- may be a good quiet generator if I won't use the solar panel...

in short a way to run the fridge when going camping

thanks in advance,

dan
