We've been pretty lucky with ours. From the reasonable purchase price ten years ago to the modest upgrades and some repairs it's not too scary to consider what we've put into it. I'd like to think that clears the way for a Sube or TDI swap and a Syncro conversion and maybe a highroof and the garage door mods to fit it in afterward, but I know better.
