If the ground cable hasn't been removed before, when re-installing, clean cable mount point at frame down to bare metal. Details on this are noted in Bentley. In general, in poor lighting, the OEM galvanized grey can easily look like bare metal. Not what you want! lol. With the cup removed from my floor jack, I found an old spare 1/2" drive socket to fit that cup hole then mounted that socket to a piece of 3/4" or 1/2" plywood. This provided a larger platform for the tranny. I also put wood rails on either side of platform to help stabilize the tranny. Using a larger than intended platform on the floor jack might present an inherent potential risk but for me, that platform helped stabilize the tranny during removal.
