Hey guys, 88 auto here. Got the gear oil out (blown pan gasket helped). Now, how to fill this sucker up? Through the 17mm drain plug? Through the top of the transmission? There's a bolt with a small hole and a cap on top that I thought might be it. What is that? Any help on how best to get the gear oil back in would be great. Also, capacity? The differential was pretty much fully drained. Took the pan off to replace the gasket and oil came out till it was dry. While we're on the subject, I serviced the tranny screen and a new gasket. Dexron 2 or 3 right? No idea what kind was in before. Thanks guys, Mike |
