Yes, it is obvious that the end of the axle shaft was hammering on the flange plug. Warn CV joints can allow the axle to move than normal and if the balls roll across wear spots in the joint tracks this can make the axle jump side to side. Could cause rub marks on the axles from the boots too..... There is always tranny oil at the back of the blue cap, that is why there is a blue cap. Part 19 is an o-ring around the diff adjuster that seals the diff adjuster against the tranny case that the diff adjuster threads into. Mark Neil N wrote: > Hi all. > > For an '88 Westy.
