I seem to have them.

Got my 88GL back today with the new manual tranny. But guess what - got a serious oil leak right under the crankshaft pulley, seemingly in the vacinity of the oil pump. WTH ( what the heck!).

This really has me confounded. The last few months it's been one thing after another. Last time it went out the door of the shop after getting CV's lubed and some other things, and the brakes failed right out the front door of the shop. I found the problem and fixed that without further ado. This time I had the tranny changed and a new clutch put in, and it works great, but right out of the shop Black Oil Niagra Falls starts at the pulley end of the engine. What the hey?

Spent a ton, expended a lot of my own energy fixing, and I still can't really drive it anywhere. Back end is covered in so much oil its dripping off the bumper and trailer hitch!!

Any suggestions anyone - besides driving it off into the river?

John
