For that kind of money I could have a very fancy floor-standing vented AC unit. I have seen brackets in campgrounds that resemble the kind of brackets that restaurants once used to hang a food tray on the side of a car. Does anyone make something simple like that? The small air conditions you buy today are a lot lighter than the old units, and shouldn't need a lot of bracketry to just sit in a window.
